John Dramani Mahama, the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has reaffirmed his commitment to the Free Senior High School (SHS) policy and pledged to enhance it if he is re-elected as president in the upcoming elections.
Mahama, who previously served as President of Ghana from 2012 to 2017, recognized the significance of the Free SHS policy in ensuring equitable educational opportunities for all Ghanaians.
“The Free SHS policy is here to stay, and I am dedicated to its improvement,” he stated during a media briefing in Accra on Sunday.
He once again dismissed allegations of opposition to the policy, emphasizing his support and emphasizing his desire to enhance the policy to address current challenges.
