Revoke my suspension or face legal action – Suspended NDC Assin Central Secretary threatens

Sadique Broni Yeboah, the suspended Secretary of the Assin Central Constituency for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Central Region, has given the party a three-day ultimatum to rescind his suspension. If the suspension is not reversed within this timeframe, he has threatened to pursue legal action.
Yeboah and the Assin Central Regional Chairman, Prof. Richard Kofi Asiedu, were suspended for their involvement in the suspension of the constituency’s parliamentary candidate, Nurein Shiabu Migyimah.
Yeboah is adamant about seeking legal recourse if the party does not lift his suspension promptly. The national leadership of the NDC intervened in the conflict, declaring the suspension of parliamentary candidate Nurein Shiabu Migyimah null and void.
In a letter dated July 3, addressed to the General Secretary Fifi Kwetey, lawyers representing Sadique Broni Yeboah, the Constituency Secretary, demanded that the party revoke his suspension and afford him a fair hearing. They highlighted procedural irregularities and violations of natural justice in their argument.
The lawyers asserted that the suspension contravenes the party’s constitution and internal regulations.
“Our client instructs us to insist on the immediate withdrawal of his suspension within three days and to provide him with a fair hearing if deemed necessary.”
“Please be aware that we have been expressly instructed by our client to take legal action against you should you fail to comply with this demand,” excerpts from the letter stated.
Nurein Shiabu Migyimah was suspended from his position as the Parliamentary Candidate for the party due to allegations of immoral behavior and anti-party activities. Additionally, he was accused of having an affair with the wife of Sadique Broni Yeboah.
