Ghanaian rap icon Sarkodie is slated to perform at the opening ceremony of the 2024 Olympics in France.
The opening ceremony is scheduled for July 26, 2024, in Paris, France, with the closing ceremony set for August 11, 2024.
DJ Mensah, the personal DJ of Sarkodie, disclosed the news of the rapper’s performance during an interview on Asaase Radio, where he outlined Sarkodie’s upcoming engagements for the year.
“We have a few shows lined up with Sarkodie. Although not officially announced yet, we will be performing at the Olympics opening in August, and there’s also an event in the US that we’ll attend. Additionally, I have another show, Ghana Fest in Canada, similar to Ghana Party in the Park,” he revealed.
