John Dumelo, Parliamentary candidate for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has taken action to address the water shortage affecting the new halls at the University of Ghana.
Dumelo arranged for water tankers to supply students who have been facing difficulties accessing water for several days. The exact timeline for Ghana Water Company to restore water service to the University Campus remains uncertain.
“I responded today to the students’ water shortage issue on the Legon campus. I hope this initiative will help alleviate the situation until a permanent solution is found,” Dumelo announced in a statement shared via X.
The actor, farmer, and politician is vying against NPP’s Lydia Alhassan for the Member of Parliament role in the Ayawaso West Wugon constituency.
He is hoping to win the election to represent the people.
