GHANASCO triumphs over TAMASCO and St. Francis Xavier in NSMQ2024 Northern Zonal Championship

Ghana Senior High School (GHANASCO) emerges victorious in the Goil Plc Northern Zonal Championship of the National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) 2024.

GHANASCO clinched the title after defeating their rivals Tamale SHS and St. Francis Xavier Seminary from Upper West in a fiercely contested academic battle at the GNAT Hall in Tamale. Initially challenged by Tamale SHS in the semifinals, GHANASCO persevered as the top runner-up and sought redemption in the finals.

The final match saw GHANASCO trailing Tamale SHS after the first round but making a decisive comeback in the subsequent rounds. With a final score of 45 points, GHANASCO secured first place, followed by St. Francis Xavier Seminary with 36 points and Tamale SHS with 30 points.

GHANASCO, which started its journey from the regional qualifiers, is now eyeing a strong performance at the national tournament, aiming to clinch their first national victory for the Northern regions.
