“Ashanti Regional House of Chiefs Expresses High Esteem for Bawumia”

The Ashanti Regional House of Chiefs has expressed high regard for Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

This sentiment was conveyed during the Vice President’s visit to them as part of his campaign tour of the Ashanti Region.

Daasebre Osei Bonsu II, Occupant of the Silver Stool of Asanteman, noted, “For the record, you are the first external dignitary, who is neither a member of the house nor of Asanteman, to pay us a visit. Some of the queen mothers were here before 9 am.”

“This demonstrates the high esteem in which we hold you,” he added.
