Written by on June 10, 2024

John Mahama, the Flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has promised that if elected President, teachers who opt to work in rural schools will receive a 20% salary bonus as an incentive.

The former President believes that this initiative will motivate more teachers to accept placements in rural areas.

This adds to the array of policies and promises Mr. Mahama has assured Ghanaians of ahead of the December 7 election.

Mr. Mahama made this announcement via a Facebook post.
